Something I am passionate is.........Soccer

As you might have guessed I am very passionate about soccer. Soccer is known all around the world, from England to China people love soccer. Mainly because of its continuing action during the game.  Soccer is also a sport with many advantages such as it increases your stamina, speed, and endurance. Soccer is a very entertaining and fun sport to watch and also to play. You get to feel the satisfaction of scoring a goal, you can also feel the greatness of saving a impossible shot. This why I am passionate about soccer.

Now you know why I am passionate about soccer, but you don't know what soccer means to me. To me soccer is a very important part of my life. It's like an option I'll always have in my life, if I want to be an athlete. Soccer is my goal in life, I want to achieve greatness in my life with soccer. Soccer means a lot to me and I am very passionate about it. What are you passionate about? Let me know in your comment.

Soccer Gaming

Just as all the other well know sports that have video games made after them, soccer those too. In soccer video games they use all the professional clubs in the world as well as the international soccer teams. In order to make an official soccer game consisting of real professional players you must have a license from the federation and  the only two soccer game companies. I know about are: Pro Evolution Soccer and FIFA soccer. I would recommend FIFA soccer because I like the wide variety of features it has.

So every year these two soccer game making companies come out with a new game and they are supposed to better then the previous year's game. By this I mean having the latest squads, better quality, and also more features/options. But sometimes the games don't have much improvement which upsets soccer fans who buy the game. So as the years go on these companies have to get more and more ideas for new things. And they have been doing very well with this. I can say this because I have played many of the games.

Getting Suspended for Tebowing!!!

You might be wondering what is tebowing from the title, you also might of guessed it must be very bad because kids got suspended for doing this. Well lets start from the beginning, Tim Tebow you might know who he is and you might not. Well, for those who do good for you, for those who don't, he is a NFL star. He is the Quarterback for the Denver Broncos. Tim Tebow is known for his unique celebration, known as Tebowing it is when Tim Tebow kneels down and places his elbow on his knee and puts his fist on his head. As shown in the image.

But who knew copying a national sports star's celebration could get you suspended! When I found out about this, by reading an article on tween tribune I was astonished about the decision the principal of the school had made and responded to it something like this. I think that this decision is too much for such a small incident. Maybe something like detention could have worked and that too not for Tebowing but for clogging the hallway. If you have a response to this too please feel free to comment. Here is the video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07HriGZ-DeI
And here is where I read the article.

New Year's Resolution

Happy New Year's!!! Before the  new year begins many people like to set goals for the upcoming year. Such as losing weight or many other goals called resolutions. Well I have made one very important new years resolution. I will try and accomplish this one goal with all that I'm capable of just like many other people alive in this world. Here is my very very important new years resolution.
Well to me its important you might think it's stupid.

As well as writing about soccer I also play soccer. Which leads me to my resolution. Which is I want to become better at soccer player. This is my resolution because I want to make the school soccer team (Which I did not get on to this year). By becoming a better soccer player I mean by increasing my stamina, my shooting, and my speed. This goal is very important to me because I want to be a professional soccer player and for that you need lots and lots of skill. HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!!!!!!!

International Soccer

Well, there are many soccer clubs through out the world. Some players are outstanding and some players are okay. These teams compete for cups within their league or against other leagues. But, as well as these clubs there are also international teams. These teams contain the countries best players. For example, the international team Argentina (my favorite international team) consists of only good players from Argentina. This makes international team matches really long, challenging, and fun to watch. It takes really good player to get on a international team. This why most players are not on a international team.
This is Argentina's soccer team logo.

So what do these international teams do? Well once in a while they compete in tournaments and for cups. But, every four years there is a major event called the World Cup. In this tough and first class competition every international team in the world has a fair chance to win the World Cup. The World Cup consists many very competitive matches. When every four years there is a World Cup many fans go crazy! By this I mean they might paint their bodies with their favorites teams colors, there are many other crazy things people do to show their team spirit, it would take me hours to tell you all of them. Here are all of the World Cup title holders!

  •  Brazil: 5
  •  Italy: 4
  •  Germany: 3
  •  Argentina: 2
  •  Uruguay: 2
  •  England: 1
  •  France: 1
  •  Spain: 1

Early Life
Ronaldo was born in Santo António, in the neighborhood of Funchal, Madeira. Ronaldo was the youngest child of his parents who were Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro. His mother worked as a cook and his father worked as a municipal gardener. He has one older brother, Hugo, and two older sisters, Elma and Liliana Cátia. At the age of eight, Ronaldo played for amateur team Andorinha, where his father was the kit man. In 1995, Ronaldo signed with local club Nacional, and, after a title-winning campaign, he went on a three-day trial with Sporting CP, who subsequently signed him for an undisclosed sum.
Club Career
Ronaldo joined Sporting's other youth players who trained at the Academia Sporting, the club's football academy, in Alcochete. He became the only player ever to play for Sporting's under-16, under-17, under-18, B-team, and the first team, all within one season. When he was 15, Ronaldo was diagnosed with a racing heart, a condition that might have forced him to give up playing football. The Sporting staff were made aware of the condition and Ronaldo's mother gave her authorisation for him to go into hospital. While there, he had an operation in which a laser was used to cauterize the area of his heart that was causing the problem. The surgery took place in the morning and Ronaldo was discharged from hospital by the end of the afternoon; he resumed training only a few days later. However, he came to the attention of Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson in the summer of 2003, when Sporting defeated United 3–1 in the inauguration of the Estádio José Alvalade in Lisbon. Ronaldo's performance impressed the Manchester United players, who urged Ferguson to sign him.Ronaldo became Manchester United's first-ever Portuguese player when he signed for €15 million. The 2006–2007 season proved to be the breakout year for Ronaldo, as he broke the 20 goal barrier for the first time and picked up his first league title with Manchester United. In November and December 2006, Ronaldo received consecutive Barclays Player of the Month honors, becoming only the third player in Premier League history to do so after Dennis Bergkamp in 1997 and Robbie Fowler in 1996. He scored his 50th Manchester United goal against city rivals Manchester City on 5 May 2007 as United claimed their first Premier League title in four years, and he was voted into his second consecutive FIFPro Special Young Player of the Year award at the end of the year. Despite rumors circulating in March 2007 that Real Madrid were willing to pay an unprecedented €80 million for Ronaldo, he signed a five-year, £120,000-a-week (£31 million total) extension with United on 13 April, making him the highest-paid player in team history. On 11 June, Manchester United accepted an unconditional offer of £80 million from Real Madrid for Ronaldo after it was revealed that he again had expressed his desire to leave the club. It was confirmed by a representative of the Glazer family that the sale was fully condoned by Ferguson. When Ronaldo had eventually completed his transfer to Real, he expressed his gratitude towards Ferguson for helping him develop as a player, saying, "He's been my father in sport, one of the most important factors and most influential in my career."On 26 June 2009, Real Madrid confirmed that Ronaldo would join the club on 1 July 2009 from Manchester United for £80 million, after agreeing terms and signing a six-year contract. Ronaldo's contract is worth €11 million per year and it has a €1 billion buy-out clause. He was presented to the world media as a Real Madrid player on 6 July, where he was handed the number 9 jersey. The shirt was presented to him by Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stéfano. Ronaldo was welcomed by 80,000 fans at his presentation at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, surpassing Diego Maradona's record of 75,000 fans when he was presented in Italy, after he was transferred from Barcelona to Napoli in 1984. With the departure of Raúl during the summer of 2010, Ronaldo was handed the No. 7 jersey for Real Madrid. On 23 October 2010, Ronaldo scored four goals against Racing de Santander, the most goals he has ever scored in a single match. This completed a goalscoring run of six consecutive matches (three in La Liga, one in the Champions League, and two for Portugal) in which Ronaldo scored in each match, totalling 11 goals, which is the most Ronaldo has scored in a single month.
My Opinion
The reason I blogged on Ronaldo this week is because he has created lots of soccer history. As you saw in my other post Ronaldo has the most goals in Liga BBVA. He has many great techniques he uses during games that are difficult enough to do at home. He has fascinating ball control, he is really good at shooting from far distances, and he has been wanted and has been a part of really talented teams. When Ronaldo started to play soccer he was just a normal kid who liked to play the sport. But, now he is a world famous footballer. Many kids around the world have Cristiano Ronaldo as their role model. Cristiano Ronaldo has become one of the best soccer player in the world. I like Ronaldo because of his ball control. In which way do you like him?
