Two frequently meeting rivals facing each other one on one in the sport of soccer, between these two teams no one ever knows the final outcome. Wouldn't that be fun to watch? Well these two teams are Barcelona and Real Madrid. Both these soccer teams are rivals and they both are amazing at the sport they play. Both these teams play in a league known as La Liga and they both dominate the league. Usually the league finals are between these two teams. Even though both of these teams might seem similar to you they are different in who their star players are and their playing styles.

Both these team have many star players and they need them in order to succeed. Let’s start with Barcelona, one of their best players is Lionel Messi a young forward, that is extremely fast and has an awesome shot, he has won so many awards I can’t even list them. Another star player of Barcelona is Puyol, he is a dedicated defender who is the current team captain of Barcelona. Carles Puyol has never played on any other team except his international team. Puyol has a very powerful and accurate clear and a prodigious amount of stamina and he is pretty fast too. On the other hand there is Real Madrid, one of their very well-known and very skilled player is Cristiano Ronaldo a venerated midfielder, Ronaldo has jaw-dropping moves he can get past almost any player with a swift move he also has a very good shot and is fast as well. Another Real Madrid superstar is their very own goalkeeper, Iker Casillas. Casillas has lightning fast reflexes and barely ever lets a shot go past him, He is currently Real Madrid’s Captain. As you can see both these teams have very varied star players.

These very successful teams both have very different playing styles. This time let’s start with Real Madrid, They usually have two-one forward/’s, four-five midfielders, four defenders, and a goalie. This helps them keep control of the whole field and it gives them very good passing opportunities. Then there is Barcalona who almost always use the same formation of three forwards, three midfielders, four defenders, and a goalkeeper. This helps them attack from multiple ways, get lots of crosses and create trough pass chances. Now you know how their formations differ and how their formations help them vie for victory.

Therefore you should now be able to say that both of these teams are similar in some ways but are drastically different in terms of their star players and their playing style. Now it is easy to see that each teams elite players are different and contribute in different ways and also that their playing styles involve different formations which helps each individual team in different ways. Now I bet if you want to watch a top-gear soccer game you watch Barcelona vs. Real Madrid!
